When my son Jacob was very small i mean three months or so my husband used to play a game with him hoping to keep him flexible which turns out to be right thing to do for Jake because his calf muscles are very tight and the pediatrics told us they need to be stretched and messaged by us while he grows.
Any how my husband made up a rhyme and here it goes. toes on the nose, in my ear ,ok know lets have a beer. (no my husband didn't give him beer and he does not drink its an asian thing.)
So as the ryme goes he would put jakes toes on his noes and then in his ear(almost).and then give him his bottle. Jake would just giggle and they did this for years until the past few since jake has gotten so big.
Ok, so we go to the pediatrics today because last but not least the kids have flat feet.

Well any how my son had me and my husband rolling in the office. The doctor is testing his feet telling him to pull against his hand with his feet. Jake is not quite geting it so he tells him pull your toes towards your noes Jake gets a giant smile and grabs a hole of his leg and bends it and puts his toes on his noes.
Me and John chuckle the doctor grabs his foot back and says well that's a first. Jake wanting to continue with the rhyme and not knowing how to get his foot back from the doctor point to his ear and sticks his finger in it. We Lost it!!! The doctor must of thought we were nuts. I laughed so hard i had water coming out of my eyes!!!
I love my son and I try to write down these stories so I can remember all the joy he has brought me with his honest approach to life through his disability and i love his spirit he has thought me so much and continues too every day!
